Gateway Revision Flashcards
Doors Loop Bypass
Used when we cannot get an all train doors closed & locked signal.
If the issue is preventing the door from closing. The trainset may need to be removed from service.
1..Detrainment of the train is required
2..Train must be taken back to the depot with Doors Loop Bypass enabled.
3..Operate at no more than 40km/h to allow the the train to move in and out of the stations
Doors Enable Bypass
If the train is docked correctly and the doors open relay is not achieved the doors enable bypass is used to select the correct platform and the doors open/close buttons are used to open the train doors.
ATC Bypass
When using ATC Bypass the train must be in RM mode
Communication with the CBTC is cut meaning it is no longer communicating with the ATS.
Communication with TC is limited to axle counters and the train can enter another train’s LOA
Maximum speed is guaranteed by the TMS
Master controller & mushroom EB are still available
