Why does gastroparesis occur?

A

Due to neuropathy of the VAGUS nerve causing abnormal gut movement

What type of neuropathy do diabetics tend to have?

A
Usually sensory (not motor loss) in peripheral neuropathy.

A

1) Either: (AD PiG!)
- Amitriptyline
- Duloxetine
- Gabapentin
- Pregabalin
