What is a PEG tube?
A
Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy. This is a tube which in the ED can be from a catheter that is passed into the patients stomach through the abdominal wall as a means of feeding when oral intake is not adequate (Dysphagia, sedation, or aspiration risk)
