where is the cardia region of the stomach?
point where the oesophagus connects to the stomach.
where is the fundus region of the stomach?
its the dome shaped part to the left of the cardia and inferior to the diaphragm
where’s the body of the stomach?
its the main central part of the stomach and has thin muscle
compare the muscle of the body to the antrum
body - thin -weak contraction
antrum- thick - strong contraction and mixing as it has the oblique muscle layer
