1/16 inch raised face flanges are for pressure up to
900
1/4 inch raise face flanges are for pressures
above 900
gasket design provides gasket with no freedom to move and is considered good for high pressure application
tongue and groove confined gasket joint
gasket is on confined on its two flat sides and on the outside edge, this design provides good support for the gasket and protection from blowout
