1. Sudden onset pain, swelling
2. Brownish exudates
3. Gas in tissue on palpation
4. Fever, prostrations
5. Shock

Mx of gas gangrene

Answer 3

1. Immediate Sx debridement
2. IV benzylpenicillin + Clindamycin
3. Hyperbaric O2
