Ankle flexed 5 degrees - ECC plantarflexors
Terminal Stance
Hip extended 20 degrees - illiofemoral ligaments provide passive internal flexor moment
Knee flexed 5 degrees, ECC hamstrings prevent hyperextension
Ankle dorsiflexed 10 degrees - Peak CON plantarflexors
Pre Swing
Hip extended 15 degrees - CON hip flexors
Knee flexed 40 degrees - ECC quads restrain passive knee flexion
Ankle Plantarflexed 15 degrees- CON dorsiflexors to prepare for foot clearance
