- Knee is fully extended
- Dorsiflexed
- Contralateral limb is in push off

- After initial contact and ends when forefoot is flat on the ground (CL foot lifted)
- Forefoot is flat on the ground
- Contralateral limb is in push off

A
- Contralateral foot is lifted
- Body weight is aligned over foot
- Contralateral limb is in mid swing

A
- Begins when CL foot is lifted, body weight aligned over foot
- Heel rise
- Contralateral foot goes from terminal swing to ground strike
- Knee fully extended

- CL initial contact (in loading response), IL toe off
- Ankle is plantarflexed
