What is scissor gait?
Excessive hip adduction, swing leg crosses stance leg
What is the cause of stiff hip/ knee abnormality?
Unable to contract key muscles
What is the cause of knee hyperextension?
Weak knee muscles
What is the cause of circumduction?
To avoid dragging the affected leg
What causes waddling/ trendelenburg gait
Weak abductor muscles
What is pelvic tilt hike?
Compensation for weak muscles
What causes flat foot contact?
Weak dorsiflexors
What causes absence of push off?
Weak plantarflexors
What causes unequal step length?
Fear or instability
Lack of strength
