- Soft tissue injuries (e.g. tendonitis)

A
- Developmental dysplasia of the hip
- Perthes disease
- Slipped upper femoral epiphysis
- Superior gluteal nerve injury
= post-hip surgery

- Common fibular (peroneal) nerve palsy
= from fibular neck fracture - Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease
- L5 radiculopathy
