A
COPC is not usually recommended unless the more appropriate option is not available or acceptable
- there is a conflicitng results from clinical trials on the effect of COPC on the volume of milk produced in lactating women,
- there is no effect of infant weight reported
- not recommendend 6 weeks PP increased risk of VTE

- IUD 99% but post placental higher rated vs @6weeks
- mirena. help with heavy bleeding 99% expulsion and perforation with BF
- barriers - 82%
- depo provera 97% 12 weeks
- POP 91%
- lactation amenorrhoea 98% if amenorrhoic 52d, exclusively breastfeeding, < 6weeks PP
