UB 14 - Jue Yin Shu
Indications: cardiac pain, palpitation, stuffy chest, cough, vomiting
Nourishes the HT and quiets the spirit (deficiency)
Clears heat and stabilizes the disposition
Loosens the chest and regulates qi
UB 15 - Xin Shu
Indications: cardiac pain, palpitation, loss of memory, mania, panic, epilepsy, nocturnal emission, cough, spitting of blood, night sweating
Supplements construction blood
Disperses stasis and dispels hepatocystic damp heat
Stabilizes the spirit brightens the eyes
UB 18 - Gan Shu
Indications: jaundice, hypochondriac pain, redness of the eye, blurring vision, night blindness, mental disorders, epilepsy, spitting of blood, epistaxis, backache
Clears GB fire, dispels damp heat
Harmonizes the ST
Loosens the diaphragm
Brightens the eyes
UB 19 - Dan Shu
Indications: jaundice, bitter taste, hypochondriac and chest pain, pulmonary tuberculosis
Supports earth to dispel water damp (nourishes a vacuity)
Rectifies the SP to improve movement and transformation
UB 20 - Pi Shu
Indications: epigastric pain, abdominal distention, diarrhea, dysentery, bloody stool, vomiting, anorexia, jaundice, edema, profuse menstruation, backache
Regulates the center and harmonizes the ST
Transforms damp and disperses stagnation
Supports center qi to eliminate vacuity
UB 21 - Wei Shu
Indications: epigastric pain, hypochondriac pain and chest pain, abdominal distention, borborygmus, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, anorexia
Regulates qi and disinhibits water
UB 22 - San Jiao Shu
Indications: pain and stiffness of the lower back, borborygmus, abdominal distention, indigestion, vomiting, diarrhea, dysentery, edema
Supplements the KD and strengthens the transformative action of qi (tonifies/strengthens) Dispels water-damp Strengthens the lumbus and the spine Boosts water and invigorates fire Benefits the ears and the eyes
UB 23 - Shen Shu
Indications: nocturnal emissions, impotence, enuresis, leukorrhea, irregular menstruation, low back pain, weak knees, tinnitus, deafness, dizziness, blurring vision, edema, asthma and diarrhea
Courses and regulates the large and small intestine
Rectifies qi and transforms stagnation
UB 25 - Da Chang Shu
Indications: abdominal distention, borborygmus, diarrhea, constipation, low back pain, muscular atrophy, pain, numbness and motor impairment of the lower extremities, sciatica
Rectifies the small intestine
Transforms stagnation and accumulation
Promotes the separation of the clear and the turbid
Regulates urinary bladder (Tai Yang)
UB 27 - Xiao Chang Shu
Indications: lower back pain, sciatica, lower abdominal pain and distention, dysentery, nocturnal emissions, hematuria, morbid leukorrhea
Regulates the urinary bladder
Perfuses the lower jiao
Disinhibits the lumbus, dispels wind damp (ext. pathogen that has moved lower and in lower back sacral iliac joint/back pain)
Supplements the lower origin
UB 28 - Pang Guang Shu
Indications: retention of urine, enuresis, frequent urination, diarrhea, constipation, stiffness and pain of the lower back
