On dorsum of hand, 2 points located btwn the 2nd and 3rd and 4th and 5th metacarpal bones, in the depressions lying immediately distal to the bases of metacarpals
Yao Tong Xue
Indications: acute lumbar sprain
Stiff Neck point
On dorsum of hand, in depression just proximal to 2nd and 3rd metacarpo-phalangeal joints
Luo Zhen
Indications: sore neck, pain in shoulder and arm
Elbow Tip
On tip of olecranon process of ulna – MOXA ONLY
Zhou Jian
Indications: scrofula
Front of Shoulder
On anterior aspect of shoulder joint, midway between the anterior axillary crease and LI 15
Jian Qian
Indication: pain in shoulder
2 Whites
On flexor aspect of forearm, 4 cun proximal to PC 7, either side of tendon of flexor carpi radialis
Er Bai
Indication: hemorrhoids, prolapse of rectum
Middle Emminence
On the midpoint of proximal interphalangeal joint of middle finger dorsum aspect – MOXA ONLY
Zhong Qui
Indications: morning sickness, nausea, vomiting, hiccup
Between LI 5 and SJ 4
Zhong Quan
Indications: stuffy chest, gastric pain and spitting blood
Crane’s summit
In the depression at the midpoint of the patella
He Ding
Indications: Knee pain, weakness of foot and leg, paralysis
Eyes of the Knee
On the knee, in the hollows formed when a knee is flexed, immediately below the patella and both medial and lateral to patellar ligament
Xi Yan
Indications: knee pain, weakness of lower extremities

Approx 2 cun lateral to ST 36 on RIGHT leg
Lan Wei Xue
Indications: acute and chronic appendicitis, indigestion, paralysis of lower extremities
Hundred Insect Burrow
3 cun superior to superior border of the patella in tender depression on the bulge of the vastus medialis muscle
Bai chong Wo
Indications: rubella, eczema, gastrointestinal disease (worms) – herpes zoster ~ latent virus in the blood
Gall bladder point
Between 1 and 2 cun distal to GB 34 on the RIGHT leg
Dan Nang Xue
Indications: acute and chronic cholelithiasis (gall stones), biliary ascariasis, muscular atrophy and numbness of lower extremities
3rd Eye
At glabella, at midpoint between the medial extremities of eyebrows.
Yin Tang
Indications: frontal headache
Penetrating the Nose
At the highest point of the nasolabial groove
Bi Tong
Behind the Ball
In between ST 1 and GB 1 (according to Marianne)
Qiu Hou
Equilateral triangle between GB 1 and SJ 23

Indication: salivation with stiff tongue, sore throat, difficulty swallowing, loss of voice

Indication: cough, asthma, scrofula, neck rigidity
Calming Dyspnea
0.5 - 1 cun lateral to the lower border of C7 (DU 14)
Ding Chuan
Indication: acute wheezing, dyspnea, asthma

Indications: waste and thirst disorder (diabetes)
