Based at MOD St Athan, South Wales
-facilitates operational support to UKSF such as diversionary attacks, cordon operations, training and mentoring tasks to aid missions and operations
-all must pass sfsg training and be parachute trained

Question 2

24 Commando Royal Engineers

Answer 2

Based at RMB Chivenor, North Devon
-required to conduct operations across the spectrum of conflict in support of 3cb
-all commando trained
-facilitates engineer support such as bridging, demolitions anbd construction work to aid the battle group

Question 3

29 Commando Royal Artillery

Answer 3

Based at The Citadel, Plymouth, Devon
-Equipped with 12 105mm Light Guns and Fire Support Teams trained to cordinate firepower
-Coordinates indirect fire support assets such, mortars, fast jets, attack helicopters and naval gunfire support from RN ships
-Operate around the world on/off ship with RM
