Karyogamy: Fusion in nuclei
Plasmogamy: fusion in protoplasm

Mutualism between fungus & algae/ cyanobacteria
Fungus receives sugars; algae gains minerals, structure & protection
Some have 2 photobionts,

What is the difference between endomycorrhizae and exomycorrhizae?
A
Exomycorrhizae: Fungal hyphae coat tree root cells.
endomycorrhizae: Fungal hyphae grows with in a plant
