Athlete’s Foot
A fungal skin infection between the toes. It occurs in people whose feet have become very sweaty while confined within tight fitting shoes.
Signs and symptoms: an itchy, scaly rash. The condition is contagious and can be spread via contaminated floors, towels or clothing
Vaginal Yeast Infection:
The fungus candida is responsible for vaginal yeast infections. The vagina naturally contains a balanced mix of yeast, including candida and bacteria. Certain bacteria (lactobacillus) act to prevent an overgrowth. But the balance can be disrupted
Good genital hygiene
Keep things clean: use mild, unscented soap to keep your vaginal area clean

hoose the right underwear: your underwear should keep your genital area dry.
Cotton underwear is a good choice. Sleeping without underwear can also help
After using the bathroom: wipe from front to back to avoid spreading yeast or bacteria between your anus, urinary tract or vagina
Don’t wear swimsuits longer than necessary: foster the spread of yeast because it keeps things warm and wet
Don’t wear tight clothes: tight-fitting clothing also keep your genitals warm and most
Change tampons and pads regularly.
Oral Yeast Infection (Thrush)
Breastfed babies are prone to getting on oral yeast infection
The yeast thrives in warm, moist areas
The baby’s mouth and the mother’s nipple are perfect place for a yeast infection
Babies can also get a yeast infection on the diaper area at the same time
The yeast gets in the baby’s stool and can cause a diaper’s rash
Ringworm
It’s called “ringworm” because it is a circular rash that is red and itchy
Anyone can get ringworm
The fungi that cause this infection can live on skin, surfaces and on household items such as clothing, towels and bedding
Histoplasmosis
When the fungus from bat and bird droppings get breathed in and enter the lungs. It can cause serious illness, especially among people with a weakened immune system.
Ex:
It enters the air when people disturb soil when plowing fields, sweeping chicken coops or digging holes
