Jesus’ death is an atonement for sin. Therefore believers are assured of forgiveness and should have no fear of death since heaven is assured

The dead are raised to life, given new heavenly bodies. Can be comforting to those whose death is tragic

Believers welcome death as being a gateway to meeting their saviour and Lord
