Serial Transmission is where data is transmitted one bit at a time down a single wire.

Define parallel transmission
A
Parallel transmission is where data is transmitted SEVERAL bits at a time using MULTIPLE WIRES.

What is bandwidth and what is it measured in?
A
A measure of capacity of the channel down which the data is being sent.
It is measured in hertz (Hz)

What are the differences between bit rate and baud rate.
A
A baud represents one electronic state change per second whereas bit rate is how many bits are transmitted per second.

A
Data which is sent in time with the same common clock.
