A

A noun has a possessive ending of it has an apostrophe or an apostrophise followed by an s. This shows that it belongs to someone

A

An adjective is a word that describes a noun.

-An adjective can be comparative, e.g. Hotter

–It can also be superlative, e.g. Hottest

A

A noun is a name given to an entity

  • A noun ca either be proper or common (These are nouns that begin with a capital letter)
  • A common noun can either be concrete (physical), abstract (not physical) or collective (group)

A

They highlight the differences between two objects

A
  • If positive, they put an object on a pedestal and make it seem like it is the best
  • If negative, it denounces something as completely undesirable
