What are possessive nouns?
A
A noun has a possessive ending of it has an apostrophe or an apostrophise followed by an s. This shows that it belongs to someone

What are the two types of adjectives?
A
An adjective is a word that describes a noun.
-An adjective can be comparative, e.g. Hotter
–It can also be superlative, e.g. Hottest

What are the two categories that nouns fall under?
A
A noun is a name given to an entity
- A noun ca either be proper or common (These are nouns that begin with a capital letter)
- A common noun can either be concrete (physical), abstract (not physical) or collective (group)

What effect do comparatives have?
A
They highlight the differences between two objects

What effect do superlatives have?
A
- If positive, they put an object on a pedestal and make it seem like it is the best
- If negative, it denounces something as completely undesirable
Both of these are examples of hyperbole
