Accounts and finance
They are responsible for all the companies financial records.
They record all the money that goes in a out of the organisation.
+They set budgets for departments and make sure no managers overspend.
Sales
They aim to persuade customers to buy products or services and they secure the income for the company.
Distribution
They pick, pack and dispatch the companies supply products by either manually or automatically using a computer. They are involved with dealing with orders, queries and controlling stock levels and accepting deliveries.
Marketing
They concentrate on the new techniques to evaluate advertising campaigns and promotions and also concentrate on competition with other brands.
Research and development
They ensure that the company is always developing new products and services based on research carried out.
Human Resources
They recruit staff and deal with industrial relation and staff training. They also deal with the requirements for staff.
Design
They use IT to draw and plan and so they can change it easier. Draw designs for products.
ICT Services
They make sure that the company’s ICT systems are working at their best and they will also develop systems that will allow the company to expand.
