Functional abilities based on SC lesion Muscle innervations/function with spinal levels Flashcards
Song to help: C1-3
you’re not doing many things- you can’t move or breathe on your own
Song to help: C4
you breathe with our diaphragm – move your head, neck and shoulders you can
Song to help: C5
you can flex your elbows
Song to help: C6
your wrist extend, got a key grip that’s weak
Song to help: C7-8
wrists and elbows work great, got movement in your fingers and thumbs
Song to help: T1-4
you use your upper extrems
Song to help: T5 – 9
get around just fine, using a manual wheelchair
Song to help: T10-L1
fair to good trunk stability
Song to help: L2 – S5
you will have some control if movement in your hips, knees and feet
