3,000 lbs. in each window for a total of 9,000 lbs. If there are aux tanks the value will be 15,000 lbs.

What is different about the center tank boost pumps?

A

They are connected to each other in series, not parallel. This allows the fuel to be fed to the engines at a higher pressure thereby allowing this fuel to be used first.
