What do you do when something complains of food positioning?

A
  • Fill out the Incident/ Visit Report in DoneSafe
  • The customer’s details and those of the ill person(s) including name, address, contact phone numbers (work and home)
  • Record the time the complaint was taken.
  • if they were purchased and record whether the order was takeaway, dine in or drive thru.
    • Record all product details including use thru or use by dates and outer carton codes.
    • Record approx. time of illness. Include any other information
    • Explain that the complaint will be sent to head office

Raw product complaint- steps

A
  • Use By or Use Thru date and batch codes if available.
    • Quantity defective.
    • As much detail as possible on the actual problem (be specific).
    • Put aside defective product for collection and retain for 3 business days (Mon – Fri excl. P/Hol unless contacted by the supplier). Label the product so it is not used.
    • Complete the Martin Brower RPC Checklist in Brand

What do you do if there is a robbery?

A

Secure the premises and call Police.
• Contact your Restaurant Manager & Consultant
• Refer to the “Security Incident” tab of the Emergency Procedures Flipchart.
• Report the incident to the Workplace Safety Department 02 9875 6666 (during business hours) or MAC
Hotline 1800 810 377 (after hours) as soon as possible.
• If applicable call the parents of all crew (under 18 years) involved in the robbery.
• Complete a DoneSafe report within 2 hours of the incident occurring.
• If required, contact Drake Workwise to arrange trauma counselling on 1800 084 525
