Declare Sovereignty (power):
- formally announce USA
- taking power from the king and giving it to the people of the states
What does self-evident mean?
Self-evident:
(originally an engineering/scientific term)
- explains itself (no explanation needed)
*anything that is equal to the same thing is equal to each other
*had to be a scientific term so people could abolish slavery later on

The United States of America
