A
Germany didnt pay its reparations to the french.

A
French invaded its most important industry area. It contained over 80% of Germanys steel production.

What were the effects of the rurh?
A
Government were outraged. Workers in the rurh refised to work for the french and went on strike.
They then had no money so they printed more to pay the reporation which caused huperinflation.

A

Value of everyones money went down. When money looses its value we call it inflation.
