Give reasons why Muslims say they can believe in free will and predestination.
A
- Allah is omniscient - all knowing, so he knows what choices you will make.
- Therefore people are free to choose different paths but Allah has already factored that into his plan hence predestination.

How do Muslims explain evil and suffering?
A
- Allah’s creation was perfect
- Iblis disobeyed Allah and created evil - he is able to tempt humans up to the day of Judgement.
- Iblis will be judged on the day of judgement.
- Reminds people that good ultimately is more powerful than evil will win in the end.

What do Muslims think about who is responsible for actions?
A
Every individual is responsible for their own actions.
People are free to follow or reject the teachings of Islam but must face the consequnces on the day of judgement.
