A
  • Allah is omniscient - all knowing, so he knows what choices you will make.
  • Therefore people are free to choose different paths but Allah has already factored that into his plan hence predestination.

How do Muslims explain evil and suffering?

A
  • Allah’s creation was perfect
  • Iblis disobeyed Allah and created evil - he is able to tempt humans up to the day of Judgement.
  • Iblis will be judged on the day of judgement.
  • Reminds people that good ultimately is more powerful than evil will win in the end.
