what is freewill?
A
The idea that humans can make CHOICES on their behaviourthoughts and are NOT determined by BIO or EXTERNAL factors.

what is determinism?
A
the view that an individual’s behaviour is shaped or CONTROLLED by INTERNAL or EXT forces rather than us having control.

what’s the difference between hard and soft determinism?
A
Hard determinism is the view that forces OUTSIDE of our control determine our behaviour and free will is an ILLUSION.
Soft determinism is the view that behaviour MAY be predictable but there’s also room for personal CHOICE from a limited range of possibilities. (restricted free will)
