Ya no trabajo.
Soy jubilada desde hace 4 años. Me retiré en 2018.

I’ve lived in (presente) Scotland all of my life with exception of 5 years when I lived in Libya. But that was a long time ago, in the 70s and early 8os. 1977- 1983.
Vivo en Escocia mi vida entera con la excepción de 5 años cuando vivía en Libya. Pero eso fue hace mucho tiempo, del 1977 al 1983.
Regresé para dar a luz a mi hija que ahora tiene casi 40 años.
After we retired, We went travelling until Covid put a stop to all of that.
Después de nos jubilamos fuimos de viaje hasta que Covid puso fin a todo eso.
Visitábamos Guatemala y Peru dónde aprendí unas palabras de español.
Since then, there have been ups and downs. Things that had to do with the health of my family. Life’s ups and downs.

At times, no quite often, my brain stops/ refuses to function in español, in mid sentence. It’s embarrassing.
A veces, no bastante a menudo, mi cerebro se niega a funcionar …en plena frase. Es vergonzoso
