- who will lead after Franco’s death
- formally re-established Spanish monarchy (Juan Carlos announced as successor in 1969)
- Franco to remain head of state, as regent, until his death

- relationship between the ppl & the state
- ppl had the right to a fair trial
- mostly ignored
What was The Organic Law of State?
- outlines powers & duties of the head of state
What was The Law for Political Reform?
- passed after Franco’s death
= principles to re-establish constitutional monarchy
