Q
What are the 5 stages of bone healing?
A
Haematoma Inflammatory reaction Callus formation Consolidation Remodelling
2
Q
What occurs in the first stage of healing?
A
Haematoma: tissue damage and bleeding at the fracture site
3
Q
What occurs in the second stage of healing?
A
Inflammatory reaction: inflammatory cells appear in the haematoma
