A
  • discontinuity of the bone
  • causes: sudden injury, fatigue or stress pathology
  • classification:
  • according to communication with the external environment

Q

According to plane of fracture surface

A
  • comminuted= breaks into pieces
  • compression= same as of comminuted but bone to bone
  • transverse= transverse plane
  • oblique= side hays extend
  • spiral= proportional forces
  • butterfly
