  1. Pt is passive
  2. Diagnose joint
  3. Joint is moved into side of ease
  4. position is exaggerated to increase relaxation
  5. traction or compression force applied
  6. articulate joint thru neutral and into barrier
  7. Release force and bring back to neutral.
