blisters/bullae, crepitus, and subcutaneous gas, as well as systemic findings such as fever, tachycardia, and hypotension

CT) scan. will show air along the fascial planes or deeper tissue involvement.

tx
A
like other necrotizing fasciitis, with surgical
exploration, debridement of necrotic tissue, and antibiotic therapy
