We will be prepared and flexible, allowing us to mobilise resources pre-emptively and quickly to get on top of demand.

Families is one of the drivers of demand, how are police going to target this?
Support and protect vulnerable Whanau. Lifting the veil of secrecy around family harm and child abuse. This will reduce the amount of Police time taken up.
How will Police target youth to deploy to beat demand?
By targeting the serous youth offenders they provide the greatest opportunity to reduce demand on police resources and harm to the community.
How will we target the driver of demand, Alcohol?
We will prevent and minimise the irresponsible use of alcohol, assisted by improving the capture and use of alcohol related data to make informed evidence based decision making.
