what is an internal combustion engine
why is it called four stroke?
A
- internal combustion engines contain cylinders filled with air
- air in these cylinders is trapped by tight-fitting pistions so gas can’t escape
- move up and down
- gas inside is steam
- each time a piston move sup or down is called a stroke
- four stroke engines are engines which brun fuel once every four strokes of a pistion
