Initially an earthquake weakened the city, but then other Greeks attacked and finished it off

Crete
Why did Minoa have excellent trade access?
There were various ports and harbors as well as many trade cities surrounding it
What was the Mycenae civilization composed of?
It was compposed of various tribes throuhgout the region who engaged in trade
What were the Kings ulterior motives in Mycenae?
Kings were the one’s primarily gaining wealth which were in turn used to collect weapons and kill competitors

some components to bronze were rare during this time so only the elite had access to bronze
Why did Mycenae evetually fall?
It fell to iron age civilizations but began to rebuild

they were allowed to make decisions on policy with the king

What do you gain by being a citizen?
- you are able to assembe with the king, you are protected by laws, and you are allowed to participate in the market
