S(x) - mistreatment of fire needle resulting in inappropriate sweating.
- At site of the needle if the skin is raised gathered and there is cold.
- If the skin is raised and RED there will be a buntun ~ sinew pain and bi syndrome. Qi from the lesser abd. will ascend to the Ht. (running piglet)
GZT pulse -
- Gui Zhi jia Gui Tang
S(x) - Stretched and stiff nape and back, sweating and aversion to wind.

P : XQLT Pulse – > floating pulse on left, wiry, tight, sunken wiry

S(x) - injurious cold for 6 or 7 days with rising fever and mild aversion to cold.
- vexing pain in extremities and joints
- slight retching
- poking glomus under the Heart.
P : XCHT Pulse –> Thin, weak, wiry pulse on L guan, mid depth
6/7. Chai Hu Gui Zhi Tang/Xiao Chai Hu Tang modifications
S(x) - Middle Jiao Earth remedy. Water qi is stirring b/c the fire and earth are weak.
- strengthens and consolidates
- Problem of cold rather than damp
P : Probably deep, Rolling pulse on the right
- Li Zhong Wan
S(x) - Tai Yang Illness - Fever - palpitations below the Heart - dizzy head, shaking and wavering, about to fall -General body twitching ~Shaoyin water Qi - Abd pain - Inhibited urination - Heaviness, limb pain, cold btwn scapula - spont. diarrhea

- Brings out toxic accumulations that the body can’t get out

S(x) - warm and transform the metabolism (which is weak)
- dehydration b/c fluids are bound up in phlegm
- Cough w/ thin sticky sputum
- No Thirst w/ HA
- Dry nasal congestion
P : Floating and wiry or tight
T : Thin, white, dry coat
- Xing Su San
S(x) - Heat (fire) deep in the bones (though its not actually in the bones).
- Low grade fever @ night/evening.
- Thirst, emaciation, Loss of appetite
P : Thready, rapid
T : Red tongue with little coating
- Qinghao Biejia Tang
S(x) - Damp Heat accumulation
- Rapid, hasty pulse
- Incessant diarrhea; dysentery
- Panting, Sweating
- Sore or dry throat
P : (cunmai) rapid, skipping hasty pulse
T : Red with yellow, greasy coating
