Q
Titration experiment
A
- Have an acid or alkali in burette with known concentration.
- Have an acid or alkali with an unknown concentration but known volume in conical noun . Add a few drops or indicator two .
- Add the chemical on the burette to the conical flask and the indicator changes colour . This is is known at the end point .
- Read how much chemical was added from the burette to neutralised the chemical in the conical flask. Read the bottom of the meniscus . Always read at eye level.
- Records your results to 2 decimal places and repeat until you get 2 results that are concordant ( within 0.10cm3 or each other).
