Q

Daypart splits

A

Example: 100 TARPs are to be run as 70% Peak & 30% Off Peak.
Peak = 100 x 0.7 = 70 TARPs
Off Peak = 100 x 0.3 = 30 TARPs

Q

Duration splits

A

The % of TARPs to be allocated to each duration.

Example: 100 TARPs are to be run as 80% 30s & 20% 15s.
30s = 100 x 0.8 = 80 TARPs
15s = 100 x 0.2 = 20 TARPs

Q

Converting a CPT to CPM

A

Converting a CPT to a CPM

Calculation: CPM = (CPT x 100)/Potential in 000’s

Example: if CPT is $800 in Sydney for W25-54 and the potential is 1,142,000

You would multiply the CPT $800 x 100 and then divide by the potential (in ‘000’s) of 1,142 your
CPM would be $70.05
$800 x 100 = $80,000
$80,000/1142 = $70.05

Q

Converting CPM to a CPT

A

Converting a CPM to a CPT

Calculation: CPT = (CPM x potential in 000’s)/100

Example: to calculate the CPT in Sydney for W25-54
CPM $70.05 x 1,142 (the potential in ‘000’s) and divide by 100 your CPT would be $800
$70.05 x 1,142 = $79,997.10
$79,997.10/100 = $799.97 = $800
