No; the call sign of the formation remains as designated on the flight authorization.
If you are flying as “Chalk 3” in formation, what heading and altitude change would you use for “LOST WINGMAN” in non-mountainous terrain?
Turn 30 deg from base heading, and climb 600 feet above MSA.
