The charity workers are very thankful and forgiving as Scrooge as shown a change in heart after the ghosts have shown him to be generous. The reader will start to favour Scrooge because of his change in heart.

Scrooge seeks forgiveness as he realises he cares about his relationships with other people and wants to seek redemption and to be forgiven.
“The founder of the feast”
Scrooge has given Bob the opportunity to have a Christmas dinner and due to this bob warms up to Scrooge and starts to forgive him. Bob could also be saying the reason they are struggling is because of Scrooge.
Scrooge walks past Fred’s door “twelve” times
Scrooge is anxious to see Freds reaction to him because he has treated him so badly but instead Fred is excited to see him showing that Fred’s youth allows him to forgive Scrooge very easily.
Scrooge let’s customers off their debt
People start forgiving his wrong doings and start seeing his change and forgive his old ways.
