A
Foreign affairs= president is at higher point
-Foreign affairs is inherent of Executive Branch (all powers of foreign affairs is in executive branch)

Treaties
A
Negotiated by Pres. & signed by Congress, have full force of Law
•Override leg. Only by valid legislation
•President can usually unilaterally revoke a treaty.
-Won’t go to courts, B/c political question.

Executive Agreement
A
- President can do anything of foreign affairs, can do anything to executive agreement
- Executive agreement cannot override a treaty or valid Congressional law.
- Valid law, congress can override agreement by 2/3 vote or legislation.
- Huge part because foreign affairs is big part of presidents job.
