Gujral Doctrine

A

Smaller neighbour on the basis of non-reciprocity (it gives what it can in good faith w/o expecting return and no interference in the internal administration of other countries)
Panchsheel ties with SAARC countries, like Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Nepal, etc.
Respect each other’s territory and integrity
Settle disputes through peaceful bilateral negotiation
Gujral said that it’s necessary to make good relation in the presence of hostile enemies like China and Pakistan
