Q

What is the one advantage of conducting a FFA (BLT)

A

The advantage of the Force Field Analysis is that it allows the business to determine the viability of the change as well as if it should be implemented. This is because the FFA allows the managers to identify the driving and restraining forces which can lead to them taking corrective action to improve the driving and reduce the restraining and therefore allow for an effective change to take place

Q

What is the one disadvantage of conducting a FFA (BLT)

A

The disadvantage of the Force Field Analysis is that it is very subjective during the scoring process. The 3rd step of the FFA uses scoring and because there is no certain result for each force, the opinion of each manager may lead to a different result and therefore can cause less effective decisions to be made which means the business won’t implement the change efficiently or effectively
