If employees are uncomfortable or scared of the change their productivity is likely to drop as well as causing KPI’s such as the staff turnover and rate of absenteeism to increase which is unfavourable

If the managers are not on board with the change proposed by the owner and shareholders, they may perform poorly and fail to support the change which can lead to failure in the change

If the business is unable to finance and pay for the change in the current environment it can lead to the change not being able to go forward

If there are laws in place that may prevent business from implementing or introducing change it can make it almost impossible to do as it is a legal requirement

If a business is stable and traditional, they may be reluctant to change and take on a new style or culture which can lead to the change being hard to introduce and sustain
