  1. manage/tx footrot and scald as one dz
  2. early tx w/ injection of abx and topical spray with no foot trimming (most important)
  3. separate affected sheep

7-10 days on pasutre, 6 weeks in hoof horn

  1. other sheep (pass to ground before spreading though - sheep like walking in single file)

  1. via skin between the claws
  2. fuxobacterium necrophorum (in gut - likes warm and moist)
  3. signs heal rapidly
  4. can super infect with scald

footrot (nodosus eats away at tissue btwn hoof and horn)

  1. yes (or fuso + low virulence nodosus)
