Procedure

  1. Crush the food sample provided
  2. Obtain the crushed food sample and put it in a test tube and add water to make a solution
  3. Add a few drops of iodine solution and observe color change

  3. Place the test tube in a hot water bath for heating
  4. Add a few drops of Benedict solution and observe color changes
