A
Substance used for growth and repair

Used for energy and making new cells and hormones

Either starch or sugar, used for energy

A
Needed in small amounts for overall health, mainly fruits and vegetables

A
Helps prevent constipation.

What are minerals?
A
Iron is one of these, needed in small amounts for healthy blood

Needed as a solvent for the digested food. We need about 1.5 litres of this a day.
