Insufficient intake of energy and nutrients to meet an individual’s needs to maintain good health.
What can be a result of undernutrition?
illness and infections. E.g) Anaemia and Marasmus
What is overnutrition?
Overnutrition is described as excess nutrient and energy intake over time.
What can be a result of overnutrition?
Hypertension, Colon cancer, obesity, Diabetes type 2
