Carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, minerals, proteins, fibre and water
Why is water important?
75% of the body is water and it also keeps you hydrated.
Why is fibre important?
It keeps you regular
What is a balanced diet?
A diet with a variety of all 7 types of substances in the right amounts. Maybe you have to eat more of one and not so much of another. This depends on your daily activity.
Why some people need more food than others?
Some people do more sport than others so they will need more carbohydrates. The ones ones who don’t do so much sport won’t need so much carbohydrates.
